LG Optimus G Pro is LG’s very own 5.5 inch phablet, probably the sole competitor of the Galaxy Note 2. Having already made it’s way through Korea and Japan, this handset is now set to launch in India. The device did take it’s own time to arrive here, nearly five months after official announcement.
The handset comes with a good looking 5.5 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS Plus LCD display. A powerful 1.7 GHz Snapdragon 600 Quad-core powers the device. It has a 13 MP Primary camera and a 2.1 MP secondary camera both capable of 1080p video recording at 30 fps. Surprisingly both the cameras are capable of HDR. The graphics are governed by a powerful Adreno 320 GPU. The device runs Android 4.1.2 JellyBean out of the box. It has an expected 2 GB of RAM, 16/32 GB internal memory and a provision for microSD expandable to 64 GB. The device also comes with WiFi, NFC, Bluetooth, Infrared and WiFi direct for connectivity. The model in India will have 3G. The device is run by a 3140 mAh battery.
