George Ferreira, vice president and chief operating officer of Samsung Electronics Africa said:

"This warranty is another way in which Samsung is showing its commitment to customer service by introducing the Galaxy Series S4 and extended to other Samsung devices in the coming months."

The countries that will enjoy this additional warranty are: South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Senegal, Sudan, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Namibia, Zambia, Mauritius, Uganda, Ivory Coast, Angola, Botswana and Mozambique.

No doubt great news for all users in those countries. Hopefully Samsung fulfill its promise and guarantees such reach more countries and devices as the service after sales customer care is one of the most important issues for the vast majority of mobile device users.
