Sony Xperia i1 Honami shows up in alleged press images

If you ever see images of a handset leak out every other day, it means that handset is going to be really good. It is astonishing to see so many leaks of the Sony Xperia i1 Honami this week. What you saw a few days ago was just an appetizer, this is the main course. The alleged  press leaks do give an idea on how the phone looks up front. This time it is gsmarena who came up with the press leaks. These images came out of a system dump. Since the images came out of a system dump, they are most probably prototypes of the actual handset. We would love to see images revealing the rear of the device, but not today. The press images show the international and Japanese Docomo variant.

Sony Xperia i1 Honami teases with another image leak

We have heard enough of the Xperia i1 Honami to confirm that it can no longer be a rumor. Guess what, a Brazilian site named techtudo manages to bring out another teaser. The image shows the Xperia i1 Honami with it’s released siblings. On first looks, the phone does have a Xperia Z like design. It is certainly expected to be water and dust certified. The phone’s expected release is in Q3 this year.

The image shows the Xperia i1 in the center, Xperia Z Ultra to the left and Xperia ZQ to the right. The phone is expected to have a 5 inch Full HD screen with Triluminous Display and pack a powerful 20 MP Sony Cyber-Shot camera. The device will house a powerhouse Snapdragon 800 Quadcore clocked at 2.3 GHz, fastest we have seen yet. The display is said to be capable of generating 4K images. The microSD and SIM slots are seated on the side of the device. The back cannot be replaced to remove the battery. The camera is also rumored to come bundled with BIONZ Engine, which suppresses noise on colour and light. This will lead to production of better image reproduction and picture clarity.

This device on paper certainly looks like the best to come out yet, good things come when you wait.
