Celkon has released their Signature HD A118 smartphone in India for ₹12,500. The smartphone is a Dual-SIM device and is almost the same as their HD A119Q flagship save for a few changes.
Celkon HD A118 Specifications:

- CPU: Mediatek MT6589 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz
- RAM: 1 GB RAM
- Storage: 4 GB internal storage, expandable up to 32 GD with microSD card
- OS: Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean)
- Rear Camera: 8-megapixels with auto-focus and flash
- Front Camera: 3-megapixels
- Connectivity: 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, Dual-SIM (WCDMA+GSM), GPS
- Sensors: Proximity sensor and G sensor
- Battery: 2,000 mAh
Apart from the price difference, the Signature A118 features a lower 8 MP camera compared to the Signature HD A119Q, which had a 13 MP camera. However, most of the other features such as the screen, processor, RAM and internal storage remain the same. The HD A119Q was priced at ₹13,999. Celkon has released other low-end models previously such as the A107 Signature One and A9+ for ₹6,999 and ₹3,299 respectively.
At a price point of ₹12,500 and with similar specifications, the Celkon Signature HD A118 will be competing directly against the Lava Iris 504Q and Intex Aqua i5.
