Jiayu G4 released in India for Rs.14,500, includes quad-core processor, 4.7-inch display

Chinese mobile manufacturer Jiayu has launched their new mid-range smartphone Jiayu G4 in India. Of late, Chinese brands like Zopo, Gionee, Jiayu and others are trying to make their mark in the highly competitive Indian mobile segment. Few days back we came across Gionee CTRL V4‘s launch in India and another device from the same company Gionee Elife E6 is expected to arrive soon in the country.

Jiayu G4 specifications:


G4 runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS and is powered by a Mediatek MT6589 chipset (it includes 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and PowerVR SGX 544 GPU) and 1 GB RAM.


It sports a 4.7-inch HD display which accompanies 312 Pixels Per Inch (same as Apple’s Retina display), 13 MP AF back camera with BSI CMOS sensor and LED flash (capable of recording Full HD videos), 3 MP front camera and 3000 mAh battery.


In terms of storage, the device offers 1 GB RAM, 4 GB in-built memory and supports microSD upto 64 GB. G4 comes with Gyroscope, Compass, Gravity, Proximity and Light Sensors and also supports 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity features.

Jiayu G4 is priced in India at Rs.14,500 and will be available on online retailer for Chinese mobiles in India - Androidguruz.


Jiayu will be launching an upgraded version of this device under the name Jiayu G4 Advanced. The upgraded version will include a 2 GB RAM and will be coming with 32 GB in-built memory.
