Oppo Find 7 may launch in September with a 4000mAh battery and Snapdragon 800 processor

More leaked specifications of the next Oppo Find handset have surfaced on the web. Android Authority reports that RBMen have apparently discovered the next Oppo Find handset, which might be named the Oppo Find 6 or Oppo Find 7, and it will be running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and will be released in September. That is the fastest processor from Qualcomm and will fit in with the grand specifications that an Oppo Find device commands.

Some of the rumored Oppo Find 7 specifications include:

  • 5-inch 1920×1080 display (preferably IPS)

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor (clock speed unknown)

  • 2GB RAM

  • 13-megapixel rear camera

  • 8-megapixel front-facing camera (seems unbelievable)

  • NFC support

  • 9.9 mm thickness

  • 4000 mAh battery

Apart from the beefy processor, another feature that is eye-catching is its battery rumored to be rated at 4000 mAh. That should power the 5-inch phablet for quite a long time and improve the battery life significantly. In comparison, Samsung’s 5-inch Galaxy S4 has a measly battery of just 2600 mAh. The battery may not be removable just like with Oppo Find 5, but with so so much juice in it, it shouldn’t pose a problem to many users.

The 8 MP front-camera seems like a joke at first, but with Oppo you can’t always be sure. They bring the top-end specs to their flagship every time. The increase in battery capacity will also affect the thickness of the phone, and it will be thicker than the Oppo Find 5 at 9.9 mm.

Oppo Find 5 has already released in the Indian market for ₹27,499 in May, and a few days back there was a red version of the device spotted online. The firmware of Find 5 was also updated and is available over-the-air now. Perhaps Oppo will release the next Find in India as soon as it hits the stores worldwide.
